Schneider plans to fund roughly $22 billion with <strong>$5\u20136 billion in new equity<\/strong> and <strong>$16\u201317 billion in new debt<\/strong>. Investors voted fast: Schneider fell more than <strong>8%<\/strong> in European trading while PTC jumped <strong>35%<\/strong> premarket.<\/p>\n<p>CEO <strong>Olivier Blum<\/strong> called it \u201cthe industry\u2019s most complete Software &amp; AI powerhouse.\u201d PTC\u2019s CAD, PLM and service-lifecycle tools serve <strong>30,000+ customers<\/strong>; Schneider targets <strong>$250 million<\/strong> in annual cost savings by year three and about <strong>$800 million<\/strong> in revenue synergies, with software and services rising to roughly <strong>24%<\/strong> of revenue.<\/p>\n<p>It is Schneider\u2019s biggest swing in a shopping-spree year \u2014 after a $3.1 billion Cognite deal in July and a roughly $1.35 billion bid for Shelly Group last month. PTC stock had slid about 17% this year on fears AI would eat software.
