OpenAI is rolling <strong>GPT-6<\/strong> into ChatGPT for everybody, starting with Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users on Wednesday and expanding to <strong>Free and Go<\/strong> users starting Thursday, the company said in its <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/gpt-6-for-everyone\/\">announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The headline trick is something OpenAI calls <strong>Intelligent UI<\/strong>. Instead of cramming every answer into paragraphs, the model can build replies out of graphics, tappable buttons, forms, charts and interactive tools right in the chat. Plan a dinner party and you might get an interactive shopping table that scales with your guest count, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2280879\/gpt-6-coming-all-tiers-chatgpt\/\">Engadget<\/a> reports. Need to split a bill? It can whip up a calculator. Bored? OpenAI says it can even recreate retro games like Snake.<\/p>\n<p>It also talks faster. OpenAI says GPT-6 can start answering while it\u2019s still thinking, composing a response across several messages that each add something \u2014 rather than going silent and then dumping the whole thing.<\/p>\n<p>The fine print: paying tiers run on <strong>GPT-6 Sol<\/strong>; Free and Go users get <strong>GPT-6 Luna<\/strong>, which Engadget notes isn\u2019t as capable. OpenAI pitches the new model at the more than <strong>1.2 billion<\/strong> people it says use ChatGPT each week. Enterprise availability depends on admin settings, and per OpenAI\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openai.com\/en\/articles\/20001354-gpt-6-and-other-models-in-chatgpt\">help page<\/a>, the older ChatGPT desktop apps for Mac and Windows don\u2019t support the new interface \u2014 use the web.<\/p>\n<p>Translation: the chat box is turning into an app factory.
