SpaceX just put a date on the calendar — and for pre-IPO holders, that date starts the big unlock clock.
On Oct. 16, SpaceX said it will post third-quarter 2026 financial and operational results after market close on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026. The company will host a live audio-only webcast at 3:30 p.m. Central / 4:30 p.m. Eastern the same day at ir.spacex.com, livestreamed on X at @SpaceX, with a Q&A platform for pre-submitted questions. The IR release has no revenue numbers and no guidance — just the schedule.
Here’s why the date matters beyond the print. FinanceFeeds, citing the prospectus lock-up schedule, reports that the largest remaining standard lock-up tranche is roughly 28% — up to about 1.3 billion shares — eligible on the second full trading day after Q3 results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026. With results after the close Tuesday, Oct. 20, that second full trading day lands roughly on Thursday, Oct. 22 (Wednesday the 21st is the first full trading day after the print; Thursday the 22nd is the second).
Separately, a day-135 window of up to about 328.4 million shares is tied to Oct. 24 — a Saturday — so the first tradable session typically follows on Monday.
No price targets, no invented stock moves, no fantasy revenue: just a company pinning Q3 and a lock-up calendar that suddenly has a concrete start gun. Pre-IPO holders have been waiting for that gun. Now they have a date to circle.
